THE CHALLENGE

Reporting to the Global Talent Management Executive Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing certain talent acquisition and welcoming processes within the Canadian regional service center team for recruitment needs in Canada and occasionally in other countries. He or she will coordinate, among other things, trainee recruitment processes for the Magog site and certain projects to improve and develop local and global talent practices.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • In partnership with managers determine the best recruitment strategies and act as a coach in screening approaches and candidate selection;
  • Manage all stages of the recruitment process for positions assigned (needs analysis, sourcing, telephone interviews, behavioral-based interviews, reference checks, psychometric testing, salary recommendations and offers);
  • Welcome new employees and initiate the integration process with managers;
  • Identify the appropriate educational institutions for recruiting trainees, and establish and maintain a partnership;
  • Select and coordinate different recruitment and employer brand highlighting activities such as career events and online campaigns; Develop and coordinate the processes for establishing and updating the global hiring plan;
  • Update the global talent management team's KPIs, prepare reports and develop the KPI's analysis tool based on needs;
  • Act as a reference for the development and deployment of tools and processes such as internal postings, appointment notices, etc.;
  • Support the talent management team in different local or global development projects;
  • Contribute actively to the deployment of the internal and external employer branding strategy; Train and support employees selected as brand ambassadors to support our attraction strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or Industrial Relations;
  • Five years' experience in human resources management, including three years in talent acquisition at or for a large company;
  • Knowledge of social media, online recruitment approaches, and talent acquisition technology trends;
  • Experience in improving human resources management practices;
  • Experience in an international work environment an asset;
  • Work experience with an HRIS or an ATS (e.g. SAP, SuccessFactors, Taleo, Kenexa, etc.) an asset;
  • Fluent in spoken and written French and English;
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint);
  • Availability to travel less than 5% of the time.
