LAMPE Foundation
The LAMPE foundation is community-based non-profit organization. The Foundation is dedicated to supporting education by encouraging qualified students from the Eastern Townships and from across Canada with financial assistance and mentoring.
The Foundation provides support through heritage scholarships for students who have demonstrated their ability to serve their communities as leaders and through designated awards such as the Sherbrooke Hospital Foundation scholarships for Townshippers who are training to become health professionals and who choose to remain in the Townships (LAMPE Foundation 2017).

Excel in the Estrie essay challenge
Launched alongside the annual Hooked on School Days campaign which runs during the month of February, Make Way For YOUth Estrie wants to hear YOUR stories about what academic, social or personal challenges you have faced and overcome on your way to graduation.
The essay contest is open to all graduating high school seniors in the historical Eastern Townships’ who are attending an English language secondary school and who have been accepted to a post-secondary institution in the Estrie region.
