A Richmond-based company is looking for a Human Resources Consultant to fill a permanent, full-time position. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, you will be responsible for employee recruitment, payroll, health and safety issues and labor relations.

Your professional responsibilities will be to:

Participate in recruitment and manage employee relations;
Manage human resources projects;
Look for government grants to implement projects;
Keep abreast of human resources management best practices;
Create a bond of trust with the employees;
Process files in a completely confidential manner;
Enter data into the computer system;
Organize events for employees (Social Committee);
Support the Department of Occupational Health and Safety;
Any other related duties.

Qualifications

At least two years experience in a similar position, in a factory;
Training in the field of human resources;
Bilingual French and English, both oral and written;
Proficiency with Office suite software;
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely;
Organizational skills, discretion and professionalism;
Ability to manage multiple cases at once;
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team;
Vehicle required for travel between various plants;
Availability to work flexible hours.
