Fine Arts is a required course for students at Stanstead College in Grades 7 to 9. It is accessible as an elective course for students in Grades 10 to 12. It is a studio-based program leading up to and including AP-level distinction. The teaching portfolio includes all grade levels in accordance with the Quebec Education Program and the College Board AP Art program. Experience and enthusiasm teaching 2D and 3D art is essential.
This is a full-time teaching position, which includes coaching two terms of sports. These may be competitive or recreational. The candidate will also fulfill a number of other residential and community responsibilities as a fully integrated member of our school community. To this end, experience in an independent school setting would be considered an asset. This position offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
