Mr. Jérémie Bernardin, North Hatley
Currently a student at Champlain Regional College in Lennoxville, Jérémie is a young man who takes on a number of activities (maybe even more than he should Mr. Wilson Wong tells us!) simply because he feels there is a need in the community for something to be resolved.
Last year, Jérémie was a volunteer worker in Peru and his passion for this cause continues to this day: he is organizing fund-raisers in order to buy teaching guides. Jérémie is vice-president of external relations for the Champlain Student Association and regularly represents the council at meetings in Montreal. He has also helped to organize activities on campus such as the Carnival, a ski club and a photography club.
Mr. Stephen Tribble, one of Jérémie's nominators, says that Jérémie has been very active and effective in our community and on campus, while, as a full-time student, holding two part-time jobs and maintaining a B average in his studies'.
Congratulations Jérémie!
