Ms. Nancy Beattie,
Hatley
Currently employed at Job Links, Nancy Beattie works hard helping Anglophones in the Townships find good jobs.
Her contributions to the community do not stop there, however, Kathy Musty tells us! Nancy is also on the Board of the Community Table (both in the Townships and at the Provincial level), on the Environment Committee for the Canton de Hatley and a member of the St. Francis Valley Naturalist Club.
At the Townships Sun, Nancy is chair of the board and she is also part of the corporation of the Massawippi Christian Retirement Homes.
Even with all of this, Nancy remains a very active member of her home church, Green Ridge, where she teaches Sunday school to grade 3 and 4 students and writes a monthly 6-page newsletter for all church members.
As Ms. Esther MacDonald, one of Nancy's nominators, says, 'Nancy is an extremely accomplished and committed individual, the kind of person one is delighted to work with in any capacity. She has poured much time and effort into the life and general well-being of this place that she loves so much'.
